Adorning that prestigious uniform and representing the country has its own charm. Not many get to live life wherein every day brings something to an extent that adrenaline gushes through one's system, making them drive a little further. One of the highly important sector in govt jobs is the Defence Jobs sector. Comprising of Air Force Jobs, Army Jobs and Navy Jobs, this sector stands guard so as to maintain peace and security in the country. The Union Public Service Commission or the UPSC takes charge of these jobs as well as the Civil Services jobs by taking necessary examinations, for e.g. NDA (twice an year) for all three wings as well as the Naval Academy, the AFCAT exam for Air Force Jobs, etc. If selected, a medical examination is done to further make amendments in the selections. Thereafter, candidates are called in for SSB (Services Selection Board) Interview wherein they undergo a rigorous interview regime. The SSB interviews are said to access the candidates' physical, emotional and mental strength, all three of which are prerequisites to be in Defence Jobs. Finally, the selected candidates go in for training in the respective bases.
